Notice of Intent to Escheat Unclaimed Funds on Deposit with or Held by Superior Court of California, Mono County, under Government Code § 68084.1

Public notice is hereby given that it is the intent of the Superior Court of California, County of Mono, to escheat unclaimed funds.  These funds represent deposits made to the court from which checks were drawn from the Court’s Operations Fund for the payment of jury service and/or services/goods provided by a vendor.  These checks have remained uncashed for at least three (3) years from the date they were issued.  Authority to process this escheat is pursuant to California Government Code § 68084.1.

If you are the payee, depositor of record, lawful owner, and/or any party claiming an interest in funds deposited as shown below, you must file your claim forms with the court no later than June 16, 2025.   After this date, the funds will become property of the Mono Superior Court.

Claim forms and additional information are available on the General Information page of the court’s website here and must be completed and accompanied by all appropriate identification and supporting documentation.  Any funds not successfully claimed by June 16, 2025, are deemed unclaimed pursuant to California Government Code 68084.1 and will be escheated.
