Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodations

In accordance with California Rule of Court 1.100, it is the policy of the Superior Court of California, County of Mono to assure that qualified individuals with disabilities have equal and full access to the judicial system.

Americans with Disabilities Act

Individuals with disabilities are covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. It includes individuals who have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities; have a record of such impairment; or are regarded as having such impairment.

Requesting Accommodations

Request accommodations by filling out form MC410 and turning it in at the clerk's office or return it by mail to the attention of the ADA Coordinator. Parties may also contact the ADA Coordinator for further assistance or inquiries.

ADA Accommodation Grievance Procedure

The Mono County Superior Court’s ADA Grievance Procedure (found here) is established in accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by the Superior Court of California, County of Mono.
